About the Piece

The apple of temptation is a common motif in Sohail's work, symbolic of sexual desire and loss of innocence. Unusually a snake is included (relating it even more closely to the Biblical story of the Garden of Eden), seen through a window. A wolf also looks out from a window, another animal of threat.
